PER COURT:- 1.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the application has been submitted to the competent authority for issuance of caste certificate, the same is not decided.

The learned A.G.P. submits that the petitioner failed to produce the documents prior to 1950. The petitioner was directed to produce those documents, however, the documents are not produced. 3.
It is not a case of fresh issuance of caste certificate. The caste certificate was issued to the petitioner by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nasik. The scrutiny committee observed that, the native place of the petitioner is not Nasik, but is in Dhule district and the same ought
(2) 909-wp-13388-2019 to have been by the competent authority from Dhule district. The petitioner pursuant to the judgment of the scrutiny committee filed the application. The said aspect also needs to be considered by respondent no.2.

The respondent no.2 shall decide the application filed by the petitioner for issuing caste certificate preferably within a period of three months from today and shall not return it or reject it only on the ground that the documents prior to 1950 are not produced.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
