This contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of order dated 24th October 2018 passed in Writ Petition No.3313 of 2018. The relevant observations in the said order reads as under:- "7.

In light of the above, the impugned judgment and the impugned communication is quashed and set aside. The respondent shall consider the qualification of the petitioner and if the respondents are satisfied that the petitioner possesses the qualification of the two years Draftsman (Civil) Course of Industrial Training Institute, then shall consider the candidature of the petitioner as possessing a valid qualification and after considering all other relevant aspects shall take steps with regard to the issuance of the appointment order within a period of three

(03) months."

We have heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioner and learned APP for the Respondent-State.

We have gone through the papers of record. Affidavit-inreply dated 30th January 2023 shows that the candidature of the Petitioner was considered for the post of physically handicap "Locomotive Disability" and since other candidates were found meritorious in the petition, the said candidates were appointed on the vacant post. This clearly shows that the candidature of the Petitioner was duly considered and since he was not found meritorious, he was not given appointment order.
