This Court had issued notice to the Respondents on 1.12.2016. Affidavit is not filed.

The contention of the petitioner is

2 W.P.No.11885/16 that the proposal has been given seeking upgradation of the petitioner as a full time Librarian as the strength of the students since the year 2003 to 2005-06 was above 1000. The said proposal is given on 7.1.2012, however, no decision is taken on it as yet.

In case the proposal (Exh.H.) seeking upgradation of the petitioner as full time Librarian is pending with the Education Officer then the Education Officer shall decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within six (6) months. The petitioner and/or Head Master may place before the Education Officer the record on which they want to rely.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
