The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the wife of the petitioner died while in service. The petitioner is entitled for the benefit under the defined Contributory Pension Scheme. The proposal has been submitted by the college to the Joint Director of Higher and Technical Education, Nanded Division. 2.

In case the proposal is forwarded to the Joint Director, Higher and Technical Education, Nanded Division, by the college for the grant of DCPS benefits, then the Joint Director shall take decision upon it on its own merits in accordance with law preferably within six months.
