The petitioner's prayer for furlough has been turned down merely on the ground of his failure to submit surety bond. 3.

Admittedly, the petitioner is in open jail. In number of matters, we have observed that the prisoners kept in open jail are granted furlough against execution of P.R. bond only. In view of the same, we allow the petition by setting aside the order dated 3rd October, 2023. The authorities concerned shall grant petitioner furlough of 28 days as against his executing P.R. bond in the sum of
