Present writ petition is filed challenging the order passed under Section 33(5) of Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, thereby cancelling election of petitioner as Up-sarpanch of Village Panchayat Sawargaon Mhaske, Taluka Jafrabad, District Jalna. Apparently, the term of election is over. Hence, writ petition became infructuous by efflux of time.

In that view of matter, writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
