The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, the proposal for grant of benefit of the post of professor to the petitioner is forwarded by the University to respondent no.3 on 26.08.2019. The respondent no.3 has to forward it to the respondent no.2. The learned AGP appears for respondent nos.1 to 3. In case the proposal is pending with respondent no.3 (page no.24), the respondent no.3 with its noting shall forward it to the respondent no.2 preferably within three months. On receipt of the said proposal, the respondent no.2 shall take decision upon it on its own merits in accordance with law preferably within three months thereafter. 2.
