Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Issue notice to the respondents.

Learned AGP waives service of notice for respondent nos.1 and 2.

The matter is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

The petitioners grievance is that their tribe claims are pending before respondent no.2 - Committee. The proposal of petitioner no.1 is pending since 20.09.2018 and proposal of petitioner no.2 is pending since 16.07.2021. Petitioner no.1 is being selected by respondent no.3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the validity certificate is required to be produced before respondent no.3, otherwise the selection may not be confirmed. 7.

Learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the matter is pending for filing the reply of the petitioners. The vigilance inquiry has already been conducted. He makes a statement that if the reply is filed, the Committee can decide the matter within three weeks. 8.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 - Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioners by 24.12.2024. The petitioners shall appear before the Committee along with reply on 02.12.2024.
