The learned AGP has raised objection to the writ petition contending that there is an alternate remedy available before the revisional authority as contemplated under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code (MLRC). 2.

In view of the objection raised, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the petition so as to avail alternate remedy.

The petitioner is permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty as above. In the event the petitioner files the appropriate proceedings before the revisional authority contemplated under the MLRC, the period spent in prosecuting the present petition would be excluded under section 14 of the Limitation Act.
