The petitioner prays that his sanctioned earned leave, which can be encashed for the period 1st June, 1987 to 31st May, 2022, is outstanding. The proposal has been forwarded to respondent No.3, which is the Superintendent of Pay and Provident Funds Unit (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Dhule, which is evident from the communication dated 11th February, 2021 by respondent No.5 school to respondent No.3.

The learned AGP submits that if a reasonable time is granted, respondent No.2, in coordination with the concerned authority, will take a decision, within a period of around four months.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 4.

Let respondent No.3 follow the due procedure laid down in law and ensure proper compliances in order to consider the proposal in it's own merits. Let a decision on the proposal be arrived at, on or before 15th April, 2023.

We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion upon the merits of the petitioner's claim.
