ORDER :- The matter is tendered across the bar.

Mr. Undre, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Collector, Ahmednagr, has restrained the sale of liquor on 24th October, 2019, for the whole day. According to the learned counsel, the same ought to be till the counting is over. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has given representation to that effect (Page-13). The same is also not considered.

We heard the learned AGP for the respondents- State. 4.

According to learned counsel for the petitioner, there is no provision prohibiting the sale of liquor after the counting is over under the provision of Representation of Peoples Act. In other districts, the sale is permitted after the counting is over. He relies on the Order passed by the Collector, Alibag and the Collector, Palghar.

In light of the above, the Collector, Ahmednagar, shall take decision upon the representation filed by the petitioner dated 19th October, 2019 (Page-13) by 23rd October, 2019. The learned AGP shall communicate this order to the District Collector (State Excise), Ahmednagar.

With the aforesaid direction, Writ Petition stands disposed of. 7.
