The applicants apprehend their arrest in connection with Crime No.0494 of 2022 registered with Shivajinagar Police Station, Beed for the offences punishable under sections 312, 313, 420, 324, 498-A, 504, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

FIR is lodged by daughter-in-law against husband and in-laws (applicants) alleging that her marriage with applicants' son was performed on 12/05/2019. After marriage, the accused persons were ill-treating her saying that they were not treated properly in the marriage and the marriage
was not properly performed. She was being ill-treated on account of petty household reasons like she is not able to perform the household work properly. The in-laws used to taunt her. It further alleged that husband is responsible for her miscarriage.

Heard learned advocate for the applicant/s and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Perused the papers of the investigation.

Husband of the informant is working as a Branch Manager in Central Bank of India, and he is posted at Saitwada, District Ratnagiri. It appears that informant was staying with her husband there. Applicants are staying at Beed. Both the applicants are in service. Vague and general allegations are levelled against the applicants. 5.
Considering the allegations made in the FIR, and the role attributed to the applicants, nothing is to be recovered from the applicants. Therefore, pre-trial custodial detention of the applicants is not necessary in the present case. Investigation appears to be almost complete. Applicants were granted interim protection and they have co-operated in the investigation.

The application is, therefore, allowed by confirming the interim order.

Till filing of the charge sheet, the applicants shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by the investigating officer and co-operate in the investigation. The applicants shall not tamper the prosecution evidence. [ NITIN B. SURYAWANSHI ] JUDGE S.P. Rane
