We are not inclined to take cognizance of the contempt as of now. The order of this Court directing the acquiring body to make the payment as per the award is passed on 07.10.2021. The petitioners in a haste have filed the present contempt petition. 2.

The contempt jurisdiction cannot be invoked as a matter of course. There has to be a case of willful and deliberate disobedience of the orders of this Court. We can understand, if, after lapse of reasonable period, the orders are not complied, the party may invoke the contempt jurisdiction.

In case, the payment is not made within a period of six (06) months or so, then the petitioners may avail the remedy of contempt. 4.

Contempt petition is disposed of. No costs.
