The contention of the petitioner is that the appeal questioning the order dated 7th January, 2014 passed by respondent No.2/Deputy Collector, Aurangabad in exercise of powers under the Bombay Inferior Village Watan Abolition Act, 1958 is pending with the State Government since last more than seven (07) years.

Considering the long pendency of the appeal preferred by the petitioner, we direct respondent/State Government to decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible and in case within the period of four months from the date of production of this order if not decided already. 3.
