In both these applications under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the applicants are seeking bail, in the event of their arrest, in connection with C.R. No.I-154 of 2015, registered with Kopargaon police station, for offences punishable under sections 326, 324, 504, 506, 143, 147, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code.

Perused the first information report. There appears to be a counter first information report in the matter, at the behest of the applicants,

(2) resulting into registration of C.R. No.155 of 2015, for offences punishable under sections 326, 324, 504, 506, 143, 147, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 37 (1) (3)/135 of the Bombay Police Act. 3.
Apart from above, it is noticed that there are sweeping allegations against the present applicants and individual role played by the applicants, in my opinion, would not attract any serious punishment. 4.
Though the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor has opposed bail, yet looking to the accusations against the applicants, in my opinion, it will be appropriate to release them on bail. I, therefore, pass following order :- In the event of arrest of the applicants, in connection with C.R. No.I154 of 2015, registered with Kopargaon police station, for offences punishable under sections 326, 324, 504, 506, 143, 147, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, they be released on bail, on each of them furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like amount. Criminal Applications stand allowed in above terms. (N.W. SAMBRE, J.) amj
