The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that a mistake is committed in mentioning File No.43/2010. It should be 43/2014. The appeal has been filed under the provisions of the Hyderabad Inam Abolition Act and under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. It is prayed that the District Collector should deal with the said proceedings, expeditiously. It is further pointed out that an appeal memo indicating the date 02.12.2020, has nothing to do with file No.43/2014.

There seems to be a confusion amongst the numbers

*2* 48wp4181o24 and dates of the appeal filed by the Petitioner. However, he insists that an appeal has been filed.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. We expect the District Collector to look into this matter, trace out the proceedings, follow the due procedure laid down in law and take the matter to logical end, within a period of 120 days.
