PER COURT :- 1) Heard. The petitioner is objecting to the directions issued by Maharashtra State Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission, dated 5th September, 2014. Upon perusal of the directions, it is noticed that the directions are issued beyond the scope and authority exercisable by the Commission. However, considering the report of the District Collector, the Commission has adopted a correct approach and withdrew its earlier directions issued on 4th April, 2014. 2) The Commission shall, hereinafter, ensure that the functions are discharged within the scope and authority vested in the commission.
