Mr.Patil, learned counsel submits that the claim of the petitioner seeking time bound promotional pay-scale is rejected on the ground that there is no direction to the Zilla Parishad in this regard. The learned counsel states that after filing of the present petition vide communication dated 27.7.2016 the Additional Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitary Department, Maharashtra State has communicated the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Parbhani to give the benefit of the time bound promotional pay-scale to the petitioner.

The learned counsel for Respondent Nos. 2 to 8 submits that the communication relied by the petitioner at the time of denying the petitioner advantage of time bound promotional pay-scale was not received by the Zilla Parishad.

Considering that subsequently the communication has been issued by the Water Supply and Sanitary Department to the Zilla Parishad, Parbhani, regarding the eligibility of the petitioner for the time bound promotional pay-scale, the Zilla Parishad Parbhani, shall take appropriate decision in respect of the claim of the petitioner seeking time bound promotional pay-scale expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (3) months. 5.

The petitioner is at liberty to represent himself before the concerned authority.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
