PER COURT :- 1.

The petitioner has put forth prayer clause "B", which reads as under:- "B) The respondent No.2 Sub Divisional Officer may kindly be directed to issue Tribe Certificate of Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe in proper format i.e. Form-C, as prescribed under Maharashtra Scheduled Tribe (Issuance of Certificate and Verification of Certificate) Rules 2003 framed under Maharashtra Act No. 23 of 2001, as early as possible."

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would tender the original Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe certificate to respondent No.2, on or before 15.12.2022. 3.

The learned A.G.P. representing the respondents submits that if such original certificate is tendered by the petitioner on or before

wp12468.22 -215.12.2022, respondent No.2 would conduct scrutiny/verification of the authenticity of the certificate and upon being convinced, issue a fresh Form-C certificate as prescribed under the Maharashtra Scheduled Tribe (Regulation for Issuance of Verification of Certificate) Rules 2003, on or before 30.12.2022. 4.

We direct the petitioner to serve the copy of this order on the Deputy Director, P.O. (Delivery), Mumbai, GPO, 400 001, since we expect the said authority to wait till 06.01.2023, to enable the petitioner to tender the Form-C certificate.

The petition, therefore, stands disposed off, with the above directions.
