Heard learned counsel Mr. Vishwajit R. Jain (Kamboj) for the petitioner and learned AGP Mr. S. B. Yawalkar for respondent / State.

After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to petitioner - society to apply for its registration afresh. Similar application was moved way back on 10.03.2014 by the petitioner - society for its registration as

2 919WP10598.2023.odt cooperative society. The assertion made by the petitioner is that nothing has been heard since the application for registration was made.

In view of aforesaid, petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner-society to apply for registration afresh before the appropriate authority. In case any such application is made, same shall be decided within a period of eight (08) weeks and if the petitioner-society is found to be eligible to be registered, the registration shall be accordingly done. However, this order will be of no avail to the petitioner if the society has already been registered pursuant to the application dated 10.03.2014.

Respondents shall cooperate with the petitioner. 5.

In case the petitioner-society makes any such application for registration and same is found deficient, the deficiencies shall be intimated to the person making such application and same shall be permitted to be removed. [ ARUN R. PEDNEKAR, J. ] [ CHIEF JUSTICE ] SG Punde
