DATE : 27TH NOVEMBER, 2024.

FINAL ORDER :

.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

2.

Issue notice to respondents. Learned A. G. P. waives service of notice for respondent Nos. 1 and 2. Learned counsel

2 wp 12846.24 Mr. Tapse Patil waives service of notice for the respondent No. 3. In view of dispute raised notice to the respondent No. 4 appears not necessary.

3.

Petitioners had submitted EWS certificates online for admission. However, the respondent No. 3 has prescribed the Proforma V for EWS certificates. The certificates of the petitioners were not in the proforma as prescribed by respondent No. 3. Hence the respondent No. 3 is asking the petitioners to produce the EWS certificates in Proforma V. The last date for submission of the EWS certificates is 14.12.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a request was made to the Tahsildar to issue certificates in Proforma V. However, he did not pay heed.

4.

During the course of arguments it has been transpired that no application of such, was made to the Tahsildar for issuance of EWS certificates in Proforma V. In such circumstances it would not be expected from the Tahsildar to accept the request of the petitoiners.

5.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they would immediately apply to the Tahsildar for issuance of EWS certificates in Proforma V prescribed by the respondent No. 3. In view thereof both petitions stand disposed of directing the respondent No. 2 to issue EWS certificates in Proforma V to the petitioners on the applications of the petitioners, to be filed on

3 wp 12846.24 29.11.2024, on or before 04.12.2024, on surrendering their earlier EWS certificates.
