The petitioner has approached this Court challenging the order dated 15th October, 2024 passed by the learned Minister, Rural Development, granting stay to the order impugned before him. Since this is an interim application, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned order. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that under Section 39(3) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, the State Government has to decide the appeal within 30 days.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a request to the State Government to decide the appeal within two months from today.
