The learned trial Court has awarded sentence of one year imprisonment and also suspended the sentence. Though Criminal Appeal No. 993 of 2023 lies before the learned Single Judge, there is

2 13APPLN3858.2023.odt connected Appeal being Criminal Appeal No. 1029/2023 arising out of the same Judgment and Order, in which there is sentence of imprisonment for life, which has to be heard by the Division Bench. Therefore, the present application has been tagged along with Criminal Application No. 3970 of 2023.

In view of above, we make the said order of suspension of sentence absolute. Criminal Application No. 3858 of 2023 is, accordingly, disposed of.
