The learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents are ad idem that relief claimed with regard to the award in the present Writ Petition is covered by the order of this Court dated 25th April, 2019 in Writ Petition No 9811/2018 2.

In light of the above, we adopt the same recourse and pass the following order :- 3.

If the land is situated in rural area and the award is passed on 9th June 2014, as per the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, multiplier factor has to be applied.

The respondents shall take decision upon application filed by the petitioners with regard to the multiplier factor expeditiously, preferably, within six weeks and shall thereafter take further steps immediately.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
