The petitioner who has been assigned the duties as a Booth Level Officer (BLO) has been awaiting decision on his request for casting vote in the Assembly election by postal ballot. 3.

Learned Advocate Shri. Sharma for respondent Nos.2 to 4/Election of Commission of India, etc., on instructions, submits that petitioner has not been assigned any duty in

Jalna during the current election process, particularly the voting and is free to cast his vote at the place Dharashiv Constituency, where he is residing. He agrees to share the communication received by him with the learned Advocate for petitioner and even places it on record. 4.

In the light of above statement, learned Advocate for petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this writ petition.
