Without going into merits of the petition, in our opinion the petition can be disposed of by considering the prayer clause-D of the petition, prayer clause-D reads thus:- "D) That, issuing the appropriate writ, order or direction in the like nature the respondent No.2 may kindly be directed to decide the representation dated 26.09.2018 by making the necessary inquiry as early as possible and communicate the decision to the present petitioners in respect of grant of compensation of land bearing Gut No.53 situated at Village Palkhed, Tq. Vaijapur, Dist. Aurangabad."

Copy of the representation dated 26.09.2018 is placed on record at Exh.'G'. The respondent No.2 is directed to decide the representation dated 26.09.2018, needless to state on merits, of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and not later than 12 weeks

( 2 ) wp303.19 from the date of this order. We further make it very clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of claim of the petitioner and the same is left to the discretion of the authority, before whom the representation dated 26.09.2018 is submitted. 4.

With these directions the petition is disposed of.
