The respondent - management had transferred the petitioner to a granted post of junior college teacher for subject Biology and the proposal forwarded for grant of approval was considered by respondent - the Deputy Director of Education, by the communication dated 27.08.2024 and observing that the grant-in-aid post was for the Chemistry subject, a fresh transfer order and proposal was solicited, which is the subject matter of challenge in this petition.

It is now being pointed out that subsequently, the error in the Government Resolution dated 21.05.2014 has been corrected, and the extant post is now converted as a grant-in-aid post for the Biology subject by the communication dated 26.09.2024. The management has accordingly submitted a fresh proposal on 18.01.2025. Copies of these communications are taken on record and marked as 'X' for the purpose of identification. 4.

The Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to consider the fresh proposal forwarded by the management, as referred to hereinabove, and to take appropriate decision as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within five weeks.
