We have considered the submissions of the learned Advocates for the respective sides.

The learned Advocate representing the Income Tax Department submits that the Petitioner - Sushila, who is widow of the deceased Ramesh, will have to complete the formality of logging in as a legal heir and update the contact details, bank account and such other features, which is required to be done as a part of the process of updating the bank account of Sushila, in relation to the Income Tax account. Thereafter, the Income Tax Department would deposit the refund amount along with interest.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner would do the needful within 15 days. With this, we direct the Income Tax Department to refund the amount along with interest, within 30 days.
