Leave to amend in order to add prayer clause for raising challenge to order dated 29.05.2024, passed by the learned Registrar General, Money Lending, Pune in Revision Application No.9 of 2020. Necessary amendment be carried out forthwith.

The present petitioner had preferred a revision under Section 9 of the Maharashtra Money Lending (Regulation) Act, 2014, challenging the order dated 24.10.2019, passed by the learned Divisional Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Latur and order dated 03.01.2019, passed by the District Deputy Registrar (Money Lending), Co-operative Societies, Latur.

The said revision was rejected on account of maintainability in view of judgment dated 24.04.2024, passed in Writ Petition No.14387 of 2019. Since then, the said judgment is reviewed and it is held vide order dated 12.09.2024, passed in Review Application Civil No.196 of 2024 that revision under Section 9 of the Act is maintainable against an appellate order passed under the provisions of the Maharashtra Money Lending (Regulation) Act.

In that view of the matter, order dated 29.05.2024, passed by the learned Registrar General, Money Lending, Pune in Revision No.9 of 2020 is quashed and set aside. The Revision Application is restored to the file of the said authority. The said authority is directed to decide the said revision on merit in accordance with law. Parties shall appear before the learned Revisional Authority on 22.09.2025. Parties to note that separate notice for appearance will not be issued. All rival contentions are kept open.

Interim relief granted vide order dated 27.01.2025, is extended up to 15.10.2025. The Revisional Authority shall consider the application for grant of interim relief on its own
merits and in the event the interim application cannot be decided before 15.10.2025, to consider whether or not to extend the said order beyond the said date.

Writ Petition is disposed of.
