Heard both the sides. By the order dated 29.10.2019 interim relief was granted in favour of the petitioners in following terms : "In the meantime, the respondents shall not terminate the services of the petitioners if it is not already terminated and no appointment till the returnable date shall be made in place of the petitioners."

Admittedly, the Complaint under the Maharashtra Recognition of Trade Unions and Prevention of Unfair Labour Practices Act is still pending before the Industrial Tribunal. Since the interim relief is in operation for last more than two years, it would be just and proper to allow the status quo to continue, directing the learned Member of the Industrial Court to decide the complaint in a time bound manner. 3.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. Interim relief to continue till decision of the Complaint before the Industrial Court. Industrial Court shall make every endeavor to decide and dispose of the Complaint by 31.03.2022.
