After hearing learned advocates, position emerges that land has already been taken in possession for percolation tank, however, acquisition proceedings have not been initiated and it is being stated on behalf of respondents that acquisition proceedings would be initiated pursuant to Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

In view of aforesaid, it would be appropriate that concerned respondents would initiate land acquisition proceedings as stated, within a period of two months from today
