We have heard Mr. Yeramwar, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader.

The learned Addl.G.P., on instructions, submits that the committee will decide the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner within two (02) months. The statement is accepted.

Mr. Yeramwar, the learned counsel submits that subject to the decision in the validation

2 wp 3483.18 proceeding the petitioner can be considered for promotion.

As the directions are already issued to decide the validation proceeding within two (02) months, we observe that the case of the petitioner for promotion shall be considered depending upon the decision that would be taken by the committee in the validation proceeding. The petitioner may appear before the committee on 03.04.2018.

5.

Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
