This petition is challenging the judgment and order passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Dhule dated 22.07.2010, wherein the petitioner one of the Directors of the Society and the Society was directed to pay the amount of fixed deposit alongwith interest @ 9% per anum. This Court expressed a doubt about maintainability of the petition, since the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum is not a Court subordinate to this Court. There is also a remedy provided to challenge the orders passed by the District

Considering the above, this Court finds that this petition is not maintainable and the same is disposed off. The petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as provided under law. If the appeal is challenged, it would be for the appellate forum to consider the time spent before this Court.
