Heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioner and learned AGP for Respondent-State.

The petitioner has received a notice from the employer as to why his services should not be terminated for non validation of caste claim. The said notice is dated 10th October 2025.

It is the case of the petitioner that his validity claim is pending with Scrutiny Committee since 2020. The vigilance report is also

( 2 ) submitted. An inquiry thus completed in all manners. He, therefore, prays merely for direction to decide Tribe Claim of the petitioner within stipulated period. The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that even reply to report is also filed.

Heard the parties.

Looking to the fact that, the petitioner is in service and he has received notice of termination for want of submission of validity certificate. This Court finds that the petition can be disposed off with a direction of the Scrutiny Committee to decide the claim within stipulated period. The services also needs to be protected till such period. Hence, the following order:-

ORDER

(i) Writ Petition stands allowed.

(ii) The Respondent No.4 - Scheduled Tribe Certificate Verification Committee is directed to dispose of the Tribe Claim of the petitioner as early as possible and in any case within six months from today.

( 3 ) (iii) Till the decision of the Caste Scrutiny Committee, no adverse action be taken against the petitioner.
