It is the case of the petitioners that due to uncontrolled water percolation from Shivna Takali Medium Project, Tq. Kannad, Dist. Aurangabad horticultural crops had been damaged and panchanama accordingly had been drawn. Though some amounts have been paid to the petitioners, it appears that the petitioners are not satisfied with such payments and have filed representations for payment of damages and the same is pending with the respondents.

In view of aforesaid, we deem it appropriate that respondent No.2 the Collector, Aurangabad shall take decision on representation dated 25.10.2016 filed by the petitioners expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.
