Mr. Deshmukh, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner being woman is exempted from payment of Court fees in proceedings under the provisions of the Succession Act and more particularly for grant of succession certificate.

The learned Judge while directing the petitioner to pay court fees after coming to the conclusion that the petitioner is entitled for succession certificate has relied on the judgment of the learned Single Judge of this Court in a case of Snehlata Pramod Desai Testamentary Petition reported in 2013(1) All

In view of that, the order cannot be faulted with. The writ petition as such is disposed of. No costs.
