Present petition has been filed for directing respondent No.2 to decide the petitioner's appeal pending since 28th October 2024.

Learned APP after getting written instructions from respondent No.2, which are marked at Exhibit-A, prays for six weeks time to decide the appeal.

Important point to be noted is that the appeal appears to have been filed on 28th October 2024, which is in respect of

cwp-1904.24 rejection of the furlough leave. The purpose of leave would get frustrated if time as stated in the written instructions Exhibit-A is granted. According to us, period of four weeks would be sufficient. Therefore, we dispose of the Writ Petition by giving directions to respondent No.2 to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 28th October 2024, within a period of four weeks from today.
