Mr Ghatge submits that after filing of the present Writ Petition, University has forwarded the proposal and states that the earlier service rendered on contract basis be considered regular and be counted for the purpose of pension.

The respondent no.2 shall now take decision upon the pension proposal of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within four months. The petitioner may apply to the respondent no.5 - University for any correction, if required and the University shall thereafter consider the application of the petitioner for correction in the proposal within four weeks from the date of receipt of the application.
