The petitioner claims that he has already completed fourteen years of actual imprisonment and that he is entitled for premature release in terms of Government Circular dated 10th January, 2006 and Government Notification dated 01st December, 2015.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Respondent No.2 had failed to produce him before the medical committee as required under the above referred government circular and notification. 3.

Learned A.P.P. states that the petitioner has already been sent for medical examinations vide letter dated 04th January, 2023 and the reports of the same are awaited.
