PER COURT :- This is an application filed by the original respondents in Writ Petition No.6350/2017 for grant of extension of time for eight months for deposing the amount of Rs.25,00,000/- as directed by this Court while disposing of the petition.

This Court by order dated 5.10.2017 directed respondent Nos.3 and 4, applicant herein, to deposit a sum of Rs.25 lakhs in this Court. It is further directed that, out of the amount of Rs.25 lakhs that would be deposited by the respondents in the writ Petition i.e. the applicants, herein, a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- be given to each of the petitioners as compensation and the rest of the amount shall be credited to the Government.

The applicants contend that, due to financial constraints, it would be difficult for them to deposit the amount within the time

Heard learned counsel for the applicants as well as for the respondents - original petitioners.

Considering the contentions raised by the applicants in the application, we deem it appropriate to extend the time for depositing the amount of Rs.25 lakhs in this Court by further period of three months from today. The applicants have tendered an undertaking in writing, assuring to deposit the amount in this Court. The undertaking is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. The applicants are granted further time of three months from today to deposit the amount of Rs.25,00,000/- in this Court. The Civil Application is disposed of.
