We have heard the learned advocate for the applicant and the learned advocate for non applicant.

Present application is seeking leave to amend the writ petition. The writ petition is not yet admitted. The respondents will have every opportunity to controvert the averments sought to be introduced by way of amendment.

It is also trite that, at the stage of considering amendment application, the merits of the amendment need not be gone into.

For the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause "B". The civil application is disposed of.
