The Petitioner is aggrieved that Respondent No. 6 has been issued with a validity certificate of "Hindu Mahar", when, according to the Petitioner, Respondent no. 6 is professing Christianity religion. 2.

The Petitioner'

s biological brother has already filed an application with the competent committee which has trappings of Section 7 of the Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Denotified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Category (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificate Act, 2000. 3.

In view of the above, we have no reason to entertain this Petition and the same is, therefore, disposed off.

Needless to state, the Petitioner alongwith his biological brother may pursue the application dated 22.09.2023.
