Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are claiming compensation in respect of the damage caused to their fields because of breach of a bund. He submits that in spite of the matter having been persuaded with the revenue authorities since long, nothing has transpired. He submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is given to the respondent no. 2 - Collector, Beed to consider and take a decision on their representation dated 06-06-2022 (page 31.5).

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent no. 2 - Collector to take appropriate action of petitioners' application dated 06-06-2022 expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from today.
