Perused the report dated 07.04.2015 tendered by the Collector, Nanded as directed by this Court by order dated 04.03.2015. At the conclusion of the report, the Collector has given assurance that proper steps would be taken to ensure that there is no unauthorised excavation of sand and, further assurance has also been given that the instances of unauthorised excavation of sand would be dealt with sternly in accordance with law. In view of the report tendered by the Collector and the assurances recorded, writ petition stands disposed of.
