The present petition has been filed for direction to respondent No.3 to give posting within 30 km under couple convenience scheme in available vacancy.

Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner. Learned AGP waives service of notice for respondents No. 1 and 2, and learned advocate Ms. Sheetal Salunke waives service of notice for respondents No. 3 and 4.

The petitioner and his wife are working as Under Graduate Teachers under the Zilla Parishad. At present, their postings are at different places, and the distance between those places is 88 km. There

969-WP-14079-25.odt {2} is no dispute that there is a scheme and rules for transfer, where it is stated that preference would be given for couple convenience when both of them are teachers.

Learned advocate for respondents No. 3 and 4, upon instructions, makes a statement that if there is a vacancy available, then the petitioner would be considered for a suitable transfer.
