This is an application for suspension of sentence imposed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Hingoli in Special Case No.40 of 2017. The Applicant is convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 354, 504 and 506 of IPC and under Section 3(1)(w)(i) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (SC & ST Act). The sentence imposed under the SC & ST Act is rigorous imprisonment for six months and fine of Rs.2,000/-. For the offences under Sections 451 and 504 of the IPC, the sentence imposed is rigorous imprisonment for three months and fine of Rs.1,000/-. 2.

The learned Trial Court had suspended the sentence. The said suspension has been continued by this Court since 26th November 2025. The appeal is admitted today and it is likely to take some time for final hearing. In this view of the matter, I proceed to pass the following order:- (i).

The suspension of sentence and bail granted to the Applicant by the learned Trial Court shall continue till the appeal is finally disposed of.

(ii). The Applicant shall furnish fresh bail bond with the same terms and conditions as imposed by the Trial Court, before the concerned Court.

(iii). Application is disposed of.
