The petitioner is merely seeking finalization and disbursement of pensionary benefits.

We have heard both the sides. It is being pointed out that inspite of a specific decision having been taken in the month of May 2024 regarding payment of pensionary benefits to the petitioner, till date, he has not received anything.

The learned Advocate for respondent Nos. 2 to 5 clearly khs/Dec.2024/13392

- 2 - concedes the fact that the petitioner is entitled to the pensionary benefits, but due to scarcity of finance, he has not been paid. 4.

We cannot countenance the stand of respondent Nos. 2 to 5 of non payment of pensionary benefits showing financial constraints. 5.

We dispose of the petition directing respondent Nos. 2 to 5 to take immediate steps for clearing all the dues payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, and in any case within 6 (six) weeks, failing which the arrears shall carry simple interest @ 6% p.a. till the entire recoveries are satisfied.
