The petitioners have put forth prayer clauses "A" and "B" as under:- "A) By issue of any appropriate writ, order or direction as the case may be directed to the respondent authorities to pay the pensionery benefits to the petitioners from the their respective dates of retirement on superannuation, in view of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Civil Appeal No. 6531/6533/ 2022, by considering their reckoning date 30.03.1997.

B) Pending hearing and final disposal of this writ petition direct the respondents to decide the representation dtd. 30.11.2022 filed by the petitioner before the Collector Ahmednagar, within a period of Four weeks from the date of order." 2.

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the order in terms of the prayer clause B may be passed and this petition could be disposed off.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We expect, the District Collector, Ahmednagar to respond to the representation dated 30.11.2022, in the light of the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court referred to in prayer clause A, as expeditiously as possible and preferably, on or before 31.03.2023.
