Though respondent Nos. 3 and 4 are served, none appears for respondent Nos. 3 and 4.

The validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the respondent No. 2 - Committee.

Considering the above, we pass the following order :- (i) Respondent No. 2 - Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner preferably, within a period of four months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

2 995-WP-13747-2019 (ii) The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 20th February, 2020.

Under order dated 14th November, 2019, we had directed the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 not to withhold mark sheet of the petitioner.

In case the petitioner is otherwise eligible, the other documents required by the petitioner may be handed over to the petitioner. However, degree certifcate shall not be issued unless the petitioner produces validity certifcate.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
