The learned Advocates point out that the petitioners in these 3 petitions were granted ad interim relief by this Court (Coram : N.M. Jamdar, J.) by virtue of which their nomination forms were accepted and they were permitted to contest the elections. It was also observed in the said order that if these petitioners are successful in the elections, the aggrieved parties would be at liberty to lodge election petitions. The matter was carried to the Hon'ble Apex Court which ordered that the elections shall be subject to the result of these petitions.

In this backdrop, it is informed that these 3 petitioners have khs/JAN.2019/12877

- 2 - been unsuccessful in the elections as they have been defeated and hence, these matters are rendered infructuous. 3.
